Position Description:

"We are seeking a lead technology specialist with experience who is experience with Python, Django and familiar Java 11, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Java Spring Boot, Angular and advance knowledge of building database application on cloud. Experience working within professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source code management (GitHub), build processes and testing.
Object Oriented coding practices, including strong design patterns knowledge, refactoring, clean code.
Create and organization of TDDs, SDDs, Implementation Plan, Transition Plan and reporting as required
Experience with project management tools e.g. JIRA
Work collaboratively with architect to design optimal solution
Ability to investigate technical aspects and provide feedback

Soft skills:
  • Can work independently, proactively, and accountable
  • Provide direction and work closely with offshore Java developer
  • Works collaboratively with business and IT team
  • Consult with development manager to remove impediments
  • Excellent communication - verbal and written
  • Adhere to Banking standards and governance required for project development"
